Saint Michael’s College is delighted to announce an A Level pass rate of 98.2% in the 2010-11 examinations (up from 97.6% in 2009-10).
Almost 50% of all grades were A*, A and B.
This is a fantastic achievement, particularly as all the students speak English as a second language (and many spoke very little English when they first joined the school) and is testament to the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of students and teachers alike.
These results mean that many of our students will continue their education at some of the top universities in the UK, including Durham, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Nottingham and Kent.
Star performer was Jia Wei (Sky) Guan who achieved the following grades (as well as being Head Boy!):
Maths A*
- Further Maths A*
- Physics A*
- Economics A
- Chinese A
Many congratulations to all the students on their excellent results!
