Accomodation for students at Saint Michael's College in England

Some students prefer to live in the international atmosphere of the residential accommodation at school. Choosing this option gives students the opportunity to become fully immersed in the life of the school. Students live in double rooms, normally with a student from another country - an idea[ way to make new friends and learn about different cultures

The students are closely supervised by friendly, approachable staff who are on hand 24 hours a day to offer close personal attention.

Students have supervised study each evening and on Saturday mornings for two hours. In their free time students have access to television with satellite channels and video facilities and also to a range of sports equipment - football, tennis, basketball, weights, etc. At weekends there is the possibility of minibus excursions to local places of interest or to go shopping in Leominster, Hereford or Worcester.

All meals and a laundry service are provided at the College.

Our Host Family Officer takes great care in selecting host families. In each case we try to match all the students' requirements with the family profile.As the only school in the area using host families we can be selective and use only those families who we consider to be most suitable.

All our students receive a warm welcome and a friendly environment in which to live and study Naturally, it is not the same as living at home so students will have to adapt. They will be expected to live as one of the family, and this will.sometimes involve helping the family in the house, doing simple things like keeping their bedroom tidy, setting the table or clearing away the dishes after a meal.

Many students really do become 'one of the family' and keep in touch with their host families for many years after their stay

All meals, except where lunch is provided at the school are taken with the host family.
