| Great emphasis is placed on providing the students with an enjoyable and varied sports and social programme. On Wednesday afternoons students may opt to join one of many clubs (art, video, football, swimming, magazine, etc) and are also encouraged to participate in clubs and societies in the local area. Saint Michael's College takes part in regional, national and in some cases, international competitions in various sports. | |
| The
College also arranges regular excursions at weekends to places of interest such as
Stratford- upon-Avon, Oxford and Bath. Students are not charged for these excursions.
Longer trips to London and Edinburgh are also arranged, at extra cost. We also publish a guide to the local area which students are given on arrival.The purpose of the guide is to give students information on local areas of interest and to encourage them to use their free time productively.
